  • Naxos’s landmark at sunset, Portara, is not to be missed. Portara was supposed to be a temple to the god Apollo which was never finished.
  • Explore Chora, the capital of Naxos with its whitewashed picturesque alleys and passages.
  • Shop at Chora’s numerous small shops and dine at its taverns & coffee shops.
  • Swim at Agios Prokopios beach, famous for its golden sand and turquoise blue waters, awarded with a blue flag.
  • Visit Kouros of Apollona, an ancient marble quarry with an impressive, incomplete 10-metre tall statue.
  • Trek on the island’s numerous trails.
  • Discover the caves and natural springs on mountain Zas.
